General Details
With the predatory instincts of the feared hunters of the sea, the Maritimo 550 is designed to stalk the great prize fish that roam the far northeast coast of Australia. Agility, power and endurance are a few attributes that immediately come to mind as you put the 550 through its paces on the game fishing circuit.
Designed with an advanced variable deadrise hull, the 550 Offshore Convertible's engines are mounted forward to provide better weight distribution and a more efficient prop shaft angle (7 degrees to be exact). Apply the power and you're up and planing at low speed all the way to 26 knots at cruise. It's the sort of performance and control that you appreciate whether you want a quick tournament start, a consistent trolling speed or to back up on a billfish.
In addition, the 550's cockpit has been designed by a collection of Australia's most respected game fishing experts and has won accolades for 'fish-ability' and clever, practical use of space.
Until now, no-one has successfully combined the attributes of luxury motoryachts with a true bluewater battler.
