Vessel Overview

"Lab Partners" is a one owner, super clean Viking 55' Convertible that has never been seriously fished. This means a low hour, high quality yacht that is in its "prime." It was ordered and used by a very experienced yachtsman with cruising comfort in mind. This is the only Viking 55' on the market with a "booth style" dinette in the salon/galley area. Why? It's the most practical for serving four people with the proper space for a game of cards after dinner (or some office work during the day). The face of the galley island and surface below the TV are teak in place of mirror. The galley backsplash is Corian (not mirror). The forward stateroom has the centerline queen bed (with storage below) and the third stateroom is upper and lower bunks. This Viking has a davit (Nautical Structures 2000 lb. model) and a Sea Ray XR116 Jet Boat with a 160 HP engine. Each year this Viking received annual service (with an open checkbook poilicy) at Galati's main service facility on Florida's west coast. This is one of the reason "Lab Partners" is in its prime. Recent updates include: Scottsman clear ice machine, new GPS, new galley garbage disposal and new flybridge seating cushions. To make this a fishing yacht, just add outriggers and a chair. There is a livewell in the cockpit sole, cockpit freezer and tackle center. When you view the boat, you can appreciate the care and maintenance it has received. The 1200HP MAN engines are strong and the owner reports the following speeds: 28k @ 1850 rpm, 31k @ 2000 rpm, 32k @ 2100 rpm, and 36k @ 2350 rpm. "Lab Partners" would like to have a new owner that will maintain it in the fashion to which it is accustomed.
