Overview
The 70' Hatteras Cockpit Motor Yacht was one of the most luxurious production yachts of her size in the 90's. Features of her 18+ foot beam are a huge salon, open galley, enormous bridge, full beam engine room and enclosed pilot house. There were 50+ of the yachts produced and they are still high on the popularity list. With the Detroit Diesels they sell in the range of $500,000 to $800,000 depending on their condition, a price well below their 3 million dollar plus replacement value, which makes them one of the best buys in the market place today. As you get close to stepping aboard MARTINI MARTINI II you can tell she has had exterior paint recently. The interior has been upgraded constantly on a timely basis practically whenever the owner steps aboard. Entering the cockpit are a table and chairs, transom gate to the swim platform, shower and a dunnage box. Up the ladder to the mezzanine deck with room for two more chairs is the entrance to the salon. Stepping into the salon there is a light beige carpet, an L-shaped sofa covered in dark beige chenille with scattered throw pillows, two contemporary chairs with a plaid seat, cocktail table, a pair of matching lamps on the TV and an end table with drawers. Moving forward into the dining area to port is a solid laminate gray/black speckled dining table with black L-shaped seating along with two chairs. Opposite are the stairs down to the master stateroom and the bar which has a large ice maker, sink, glass and bottle storage. Entering into the open galley is a large stainless steel sink, 4 burner stove with full oven under it, microwave, double door side by side refrigerator, trash compactor and dishwasher. Forward of the galley is the pilot house with full instrumentations and a bench seat covered in a black ostrich design material with throw pillows. Further forward and to port are the stairs down to the VIP, forward guest and mid guest staterooms. The mid-guest stateroom has twin beds with a beige cover, paintings over each bed and white blinds. Across the companionway is the large head serving the guest staterooms. It has a half size mirror with assorted decorative items suited for a bath area. All the way forward is the forward guest stateroom with a tapered queen, walk-around bed, lamps on both sides, a standard portable TV and full size hanging closet with a number of drawers. Heading aft and down a set of stairs is the full size VIP stateroom with twin beds. They have hand made covers of brown and beige with twin reading lamps and are hanging over each bed. There is a large hanging closet and en-suite head to starboard and a flat screen TV on the bulkhead. The full size stack washer & dryer are easily accessible at the bottom of the stairs. Down the stairs and aft from the salon is the full beam master stateroom. The king bed is covered in another hand made fabric adorned with a pattern of flowers. There are twin reading lamps, white blinds, flat screen TV set in the hanging closet bulkhead, drawers on both sides of the stateroom and beside the bed. The full size head has a full shower with Jacuzzi tub. From the pilot house go up a set of stairs to the flying bridge. The bridge has been extended making the u-shaped seating longer than the normal Hatteras bridge layout. There is a pair of Murray Brothers chairs along with a full complement of electronics. The bimini top goes back to just forward of the arch and there are covers for all the seating, the chairs and the electronics.
