- Remarks
- Commissioned as hull 402 by the late James L. Knight, noted naturalist, philanthropist and yachtsman in 1965. Names “Jimiana” for Mr. Knight’s wife and son, she was designed by Trumpy to make a statement of grace and elegance with her extended rake and proud bow. She has been described many times as breath taking while cruising Biscayne Bay. Continuously maintained to the highest standard with several owners since her initial launch she is certainly the most pampered and best in condition in Trumpy’s operation. Her prior owner is a world re-known yachtsman who lovingly restored, updated and refurbished her with continuous care. Most of the major restoration was completed through Moore’s Marine under the direct supervision of Jim Moore’s recognized as the care taker of the classic wooden yachts and an expert with Trumpy.
