The 2010 26 Sterling - - the first new Hacker runabout design in a generation.
- 26' Hacker Craft Sterling 2010
- The 2010 26 Sterling-- the first new Hacker runabout design in a generation. The goal was to design and build a shapely boat based on the flamboyance of a 1940s runabout. The 1940s marked stylized runabouts with brighter colors, striking barrel-back tumblehomes, wider beams, rounded sides and art deco touches. The Sterling model is named in honor of the Sterling Engine Company of Buffalo, NY. Sterling engines powered many of John Hacker's early runabouts. The Sterling now joins the family of timeless Hacker-Crafts.
