1951 40 (ft.) Huckins Ortega
General Details
BEIGHLEYWICK is a classic Fairform Flyer in cold-molded, double-planked mahogany, fiberglass sheathed with epoxy resin. She was given a major refit in 1994/95 and was repowered, including new transmissions, v-drives and generator, in 1998. Much of the original hardware has been retained, and all upgrades have been done with an eye to a simple 12 volt configuration which can be easily maintained by the owner. Her deckhouse overhead has been raised by 4-1/2" for added headroom. She is sea-kindly, fast and fuel efficient. This is a rare opportunity to own a very pretty, legendary design which has been thoughtfully updated and maintained.
