Todd Warner.  Her appraised value is $4,900,000.
TEMPO
TEMPO was built in 1936 for Jules Stein, founder of the Music Corporation of America (MCA) for $65,000, a staggering cost at the time.  She is best remembered as Guy Lombardo’s boat, as Stein sold her to his biggest music star in 1941.   Lombardo entertained more than eight million people using TEMPO in his famous performances at Jones Beach on Long Island.  TEMPO is now owned by America’s most prominent wooden boat collector, F. Todd Warner.  Her appraised value is $4,500,000.
THUNDERBIRD
The 55-foot commuter yacht THUNDERBIRD was built in 1938 at a cost of $87,000 for California playboy George Whittell.   Whittell built the Thunderbird Lodge on more than twnty miles of  Lake Tahoe shoreline.  THUNDERBIRD was built for his private use at the lodge.   She was sold to casino magnate William Harrah in 1962 and hosted Tony Bennett, Bill Cosby, Frank Sinatra and others.  She is now the pride of Tahoe’s Thunderbird Lodge.  Her appraised value is $5,900,000.
