This Hatteras 60 was actually built in 1980, however, since 2000 the owners have invested over $450,000 maintaining, upgrading or replacing virtually every system on the yacht. The 53' Hatteras is the most successful medium sized motor yacht ever built with over 600 hulls launched. Hatteras added a seven-foot cockpit to this 53 in 1990 making it truly one-of-a-kind. Cosmetic upgrades include a totally new galley with top-of-the-line appliances, new headliner and wall coverings, new lighting with euro-style controls, new flooring, new exterior teak decks and a complete refinish of the interior wood. System upgrades include rebuilt diesels, new micro commander engine controls, new generator, all new electronics, new TNT lift, new heads and new batteries.
