Specifications

General Description
Designed by Ron Holland as a family orientated private yacht for cruising in the Mediterranean and business entertainment she also has a full ocean-going capability with a range of 4,000 miles. Ron was asked to incorporate many innovative features all wrapped within modern exterior lines and to fall just within the critical volume limitations set by the MCA 500 gross registered tonnage (GRT) rules. An incredibly spacious upper deck lies within Ron Holland's attractive exterior lines incorporating a high bow profile with a classic stepped shear line. This 148' (90m) area includes a full width master stateroom with his and her bathroom suites amidships. This is accessed through a private studio lounge that opens via large sliding doors onto a sheltered private aft deck. This in turn has direct access to an equally spacious sky deck with an open air jacuzzi and sun-sheltered lounge area with a bar and a grill. A stunning Asian themed interior styled by Mark Tucker and his team at Design Unlimited is being crafted meticulously by the in-house interiors team at RMK Marine The Japanese and Thai influences provide a rich palette of materials and finishes from custom lacquering and gold leaf stenciling to the careful selection of silks and other exotic fabrics. The dark wenge timber used thoroughout the yacht is offset and contrasted by lgith fabric panels; whtie grooved ceilings and decorative shoji screens which, when illuminated, throw out a relaxing ambience within the cabins. A variety of uses are catered for in the general arrangement designed by Ron Holland to address family cruising with young children, to entertaining business acquaintances and large parties on board. her  12-guest compliment is arranged, in addition to the master suite, with a VIP guest suite on the main deck, three further double cabins on the lower deck, the smaller of which doubles as a children's room, and a further twin bedded guest suite. These are all accessed through a central guest stairway and lobby from the main deck. A spacious open-plan inside living area is laid out on the aft part fo the main deck with a central salon and large dining table aft that leads to a second al fresco dining area on the sheltered aft deck. The large picture windws on the main and onwer's private deck are a particular feature of this yacht, and link the light and spacious interior with panoramic exterior views. There is exceptional boat storage. The toys are housed in a large lazarette aft with a garage door opening up onto the bathing and boarding deck aft. In addition two large rigid bottom inflatables (RIBS) are stowed in recessed wells on the foredeck, and launched and recovered using a central crane. Additional boats can be stowed on deck. With the ability and range to cross oceans as an expedition yacht with maximum efficiency and comfort blended with great internal space and boat storage and wrapped in elegant, refreshing and crisp modern lines this yacht crosses over and includes many of the often used descriptions of type. She extends RMK Marines well known expertise in traditional expedition yachts into a new area that can now be appreciated fully on board.
