General Details

METALICIOUS will be at home as a tournament fisherman or a family cruiser.  100 hours ago both engines and transmissions were removed from the boat and rebuilt as a winter project.  A recent air box inspection showed excellent cross hatch on the cylinder walls.  The engines start and run with no smoke and perform well.

METALICIOUS was traded to an owner who is anxious to sell her to complete the sales transaction of his larger vessel.

En route to South Florida but available from points south of Atlantic City on her cruise south.

OWNER WILL CONSIDER CENTER CONSOLE TRADES.

Vessel Walkthrough
The 42 Jersey is a typical South Jersey built sturdy offshore Fisherman or family cruiser.  The spacious Cockpit has a fighting chair, tackle center, room for a front load freezer and lower controls.    One step up is the spacious Salon with an L shaped sleeper to port and a barrel chair to starboard.  A two stool breakfast bar faces the Galley below.   Open to the large windows above, the Galley feels much more open than most Galley down layouts.  The Galley is to starboard with the Guest Cabin with upper/lower berths to port.   Access to the larger Portside Head is from the Guest Cabin or the Centerline Companionway.  The Master is forward with a double size centerline island berth, huge amounts of storage and a small head with a toilet and sink en suite.   The Flybridge offers both helm and companion seats as well as seating for six to eight more people forward of the helm.      Salon Entering the Salon two steps up from the Cockpit slightly to starboard, this area is very bright and airy due to 360 degree windows.   Immediately to starboard is the yacht’s AC/DC electrical panel behind two teak doors with a small shelf above.    Next forward is a swivel occasional chair upholstered in grey Ultra Suede.  Further forward is a small breakfast bar facing the Galley below, with two upholstered stools to match the rest of the Salon's upholstery.    To port is an L shaped settee with the outboard side concealing a double sofa bed.  Next forward is a teak storage cabinet with the yacht’s 26" Samsung LCD HD TV and Memorex DVD player on a carpeted area just aft of the forward windows.    The front and side windows have off white mini blinds with shades on the aft windows and door.  A teak drop leaf high-low table lies in front of the sofa.  Overhead are rod racks for 17 rods.  Above an upholstered valance port and starboard are hidden valance lights.     Galley The Galley is down four steps on the starboard side.  It is L shaped and contains the following equipment:   Teak parquet sole Princess three burner cook top w/oven Stainless steel sink w/spray faucet Large size Icerette icemaker Built in Sharp Carousel II microwave oven Central vacuum under steps GE apartment size two door refrigerator freezer (2 years old) (9) Teak cabinet doors (1) Teak drawer Garbage disposal Lots of natural lights from the overhead windows Accent lighting under the toe kick     Guest Cabin The Portside Guest Cabin has two upper lower berths running fore and aft on the outboard bulkhead.  An upholstered valance is above the upper berth.  There are four teak drawers below the lower berth and a skylight to the Salon above the upper berth with drapes.  Each berth has a reading light.  Inboard is a two door half height hanging locker with matching doors below for storage.   The door to this cabin is a sliding pocket door plus there is a door in the Portside Head.     Guest Head Accessed from either the Guest Stateroom or the Centerline Companionway the Guest Head serves as the Day Head as well.  The sole is teak parquet.  The vanity has two teak doors below as well as a Corian countertop with integral sink above.  A mirror is aft as well as two sliding mirrored medicine cabinet doors above the sink.  The stall shower has a wall mountable or handheld fixture, a light, a seat and a sump pump.  Also in the Head is an AC/DC overhead light and an exhaust fan.     Master Cabin All the way forward is the Master Cabin with a double berth on centerline with eight teak drawers below at the foot of the berth.  There are two additional storage cabinets under the berth on the portside.  There is lift up storage at the head of the berth forward of the upholstered headboard.  Access to the rope locker is above.  On both the port and starboard sides above the berth are three storage cabinets below an upholstered valance.  Aft on both sides are two door hanging lockers with auto lights with two additional storage cabinets below.   To port is a full size dressing mirror.  To starboard is the en suite Head.  The entrance to the Master is via a sliding teak pocket door.  The sole is teak parquet.   Also in the Master Cabin stored below the berth is a spare set of props and built in to starboard is a 15" Hitachi TV.     Master Head The Master Head has a small toilet and sink only.  The sole is linoleum.  The toilet is a Raritan electric model.  There are two cabinet doors in the vanity below a molded Corian sink above.   Two sliding glass medicine cabinet doors are above the vanity.   Also in the Head is a large mirror AC/DC lighting, an exhaust fan and a linen locker.     Foredeck Fiberglass non skid deck Fiberglass bow pulpit Nilsson Maxwell windlass w/foot switch 40' lb.
