INTRODUCTION

The Whitby 42 is the ever popular world cruising ketch.  This Ted Brewer Design is a Canadian built, full keel, center cockpit classic.   Many seek out these designs for extended cruising as the Whitby 42 has many attributes that make it a logical choice, attributes such as good tankage, ample stowage and a comfortable dry cockpit.   ENTERPRISE is a 42ft 1980 Whitby is a very reputable sailing vessel. DETAILED WALKTHROUGH

You step aboard into the large center cockpit  Stepping down into the main  cabin you find the large galley to port, navigation station to starboard. On  forward is the forward stateroom with V berths and separate head with shower.  Aft of the main cabin is a hallway with engine room to port and a large  workbench to starboard.  On aft is the Master Stateroom w/queen size bed and  full head.

MAIN SALON

Fold down dinner table, to port is a built-in couch that folds out to double bed, to starboard is a custom bench seat with full storage underneath.  Lots of built in book and storage shelves and drop down bar.

  Within the last 5 years, you have all new standing rigging, and most of  the running rigging has been replaced, 2 mains, one main w/2 reef points  and one old with 2 reef points, roller furling135 jib, spinnaker and pole  is easy set up for single handed set,  all winches have  been serviced, 45 lb. Delta anchor w/200 ft. 3/8" chain with an additional 300  ft nylon rode. 35 lb Danforth w/200 ft nylon rode, windless, stern boarding  ladder, seawater anchor wash down.
