General Details

REPOWERED 26' PACEMAKER STRAIGHT INBOARD CENTER CONSOLE WITH LESS THAN 150 HOURS SINCE REPOWER.

THIS IS ONE HUGE CENTER CONSOLE WITH A 9' 10" BEAM. TO SEE IT IN PERSON ITS HARD TO BELIEVE ITS ONLY 26. THE BOAT IS MASSIVE!

A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF THE BOAT IS UNDER THE WATERLINE WITH NICE KEEL FOR PROTECTION AND ITS VERY DEEP INSIDE WITH VERY HIGH GUNNELS FOR ITS SIZE.

BUILT TO LAST A LIFETIME OUT OF LAYER AFTER LAYER OF HEAVY HAND LAID FIBERGLASS. THE BOAT IS SOLID FIBERGLASS WITH SOLID FIBERGLASS( NO WOOD) STRINGERS AND A GRID STRINGER (SIMILAR TO THE PARKER GRID SET-UP) SYSTEM THAT MAKES THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THIS BOAT EXTREMELY STRONG.

THE FLOORS ARE SOLID FIBERGLASS AND SOLID AS ROCK WITH NO SOFT SPOTS ANYWHERE. BELOW THE WATER LINE THE HULL IS VERY VERY THICK SOLID GLASS, ADDING A VERY SUBSTAINTIAL ADDITIONAL SAFETY MARGIN. IF YOUR OUT THERE AND HIT A FLOATING OBJECT LIKE A LOG, RAIL ROAD TIE OR TREE YOU CERTAINLY STAND A GOOD CHANCE OF NOT ENDING UP GOING DOWN TO DAVY JONE'S LOCKER LIKE MOST OF THE MASS PRODUCED PAPER THIN BOATS OUT THERE.

THIS IS ONE VERY SEA WORTHY BOAT THAT WILL GET YOU HOME AND THROUGH THE INLET ON THE NASTIEST DAYS. AN EXCELLENT PROVEN ROUGH WATER HULL DESIGN WITH THE DEEP ENTRY AND FULL SOLID KEEL. THE BOAT IS VERY WELL BALANCED WITH THE ENGINE AND TANKS MID-SHIP.

ITS VERY ECONOMICAL TO RUN AT ABOUT 3 + MPG, YOU CAN CRUISE AT ABOUT 17KTS ALL DAY LONG IN ALMOST ANY WEATHER, WITH A MAX OF ALMOST 30KTS. RIGGED WITH 2 - 60 GALLON ALUMINUM TANKS GIVES YOU A MELLOW CRUISE RANGE OF ABOUT 250 MILES - COMING HOME WITH ABOUT 20%-25% FUEL. (DEPENDING ON CONDITIONS OF COURSE)

ONLY A HAND FULL OF SINGLE STRAIGHT INBOARD BOATS OUT THERE CAN EVEN BE COMPARED LIKE THE OLDER RAMPAGES, BLACKFINS AND SHAMROCKS. THE OLD MAKO STRAIGHT INBOARDS ARE TOYS COMPARED TO THE STUCTURAL INTEGRITY AND HULL DESIGN OF THE PACEMAKER.

IF YOU LOOK ON LINE ALOT SERIOUS HARDCORE FISHERMAN SPEND A FORTUNE TO RE-RIG THESE HULLS WITH A SINGLE BIG DIESEL ENGINE.

THE CENTER CONSOLE HATCH THAT GIVES YOU EASY ACCESS TO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.

THE CENTER CONSOLE ITSELF HAS A BUILT IN DOOR WITH A REGULAR HEAD THATS PLUMMED TO A 50 GALLON HOLDING TANK. (HEAD NEVER USED MAY NEED SOME GOING THROUGH, SEALS ETC)

ONLY 150 HOURS SINCE REPOWERED THE BOAT STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS AND SHIFTS GREAT. ALL THE CONTROLS AND STEERING WORK SMOOTHLY AND PROPERLY. THE RUNNING GEAR IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND VIBRATION FREE. THE SHAFT AND PROP ARE TRUE AS A BELL WITH NO ISSUES AND THE RUDDER OPERATES SMOOTHLY.

THE 2 ALUMINUM SADDLE TANKS ARE 60 GALLONS EACH. THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE CENTER OF THE BOAT - ONE ON EACH SIDE OF THE ENGINE, GIVING THE BOAT EXCELLENT STABILITY AND FUEL EFFICIENCY.

THE PREVIOUS OWNER STATED THAT THE TANKS WERE REPLACED AROUND 8 YEARS AGO. THEY ARE IN GREAT SHAPE AND ARE LEAK FREE. THERE ARE SEPARATE FILLS FOR EACH TANK ON EACH SIDE. THERE ARE 2 INLINE FUEL / WATER SEPARATOR FILTERS, YOU CAN RUN OFF BOTH TANKS AT THE SAME TIME, OR ISOLATE ONE.
