2015 Hatteras 70 Motor Yacht

“We just wrote a big ol’ check to Vectorworks and released the hull geometry for their plug work,” Hatteras’s David Brown told me of the 70 Motor Yacht, “so you could say that we’re committed now.” Brown, the company’s manager of new product design, is looking forward to this boat, which will debut at FLIBS in 2015. “It’s a very open design on this vessel, though a more sectioned-off, formal layout is available as well. We’re using the same design platform as we used for the 100. Our aim is to create a definitive family of boats.” So far, so good.
