Description
This is a very nice example of the 248 Albemarle Express. Powered by a Volvo Penta 5.0 OSI (270 hp, Fresh water cooled) with fresh water flush kit and 720 original hours. Recent Riser/Manifold replacement with the optional Ocean X DP Drive. New Cockpit coaming pads in May 2021, Garmin 94sv color MFD (color GPS Plotter/Fishfinder with CHIRP Transducer and Side Scan transducer). Icom VHF Radio. Factory Hardtop with 3 sided helm enclosure. Full Transom swim platform with pull-out swim ladder, Full beam transom fish box, Motorbox with Fighting Chair-type arrangement (removable cushion), two pedestal seats with removable cushions. Scott James
After graduating from ODU, he began a career in the electric utility industry that spanned 14 years. During this time the salt water kept calling, he acquired his Coast Guard Masters License and eventually left the middle management area of the utility business to make a living on the water. Over ten years ago, Scott started selling and brokering boats and yachts and has developed lasting relationships with boat manufacturers, marinas and customers, many of these customers in overseas markets. The move to Bluewater Yacht Sales in the fall of 2012 was a natural progression, as many of his longtime customers will point out.
