These Andros are amazing fishing, diving, and adventur/exploring platforms! Think Americanized Panga on steroids that are heavier and more solidly built. This is an absolutely beautiful and clean boat that that is currently located in Captiva, FL, but was very far inland on her trailer for Hurricane Ian and suffered zero damage as she was not in the hurricanes main path. -2020 motor now with 1200 hours had new lower unit and prop installed June 2022
-2021 Kept original hull and cap, but the stringers had some delamination and were removed and a new stringer systems was built and filled with foam before reglassing all of the tabbing for the stringers to the hull. There is now zero wood in the boat and these upgraded stringers have increased the the hull strength of the boat greatly over a stock factory Andros and the seller notes this greatly improved the ride of the boat.

A native of Oregon, Clint enlisted in the U.S. Navy at the age of 17 and shipped out to Naval boot camp (now closed) in Orlando, Florida in December of 1990. After boot camp, he attended the U.S. Navy's Nuclear Power School in Orlando and specialized in nuclear and mechanical engineering. After almost two years of nuclear engineering training, he joined the U.S. Navy's Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and served his remaining four years on a Los Angeles fast attack submarine, U.S.S. Honolulu SSN-718. In the years following his military service, he has worked for Hewlett-Packard in a maintenance and engineering support role and then as a licensed insurance agent for State Farm and Farmers insurance. Clint got the boating bug while living in Texas and started sailing and racing sailboats competitively nearly 40 weekends per year for many a year and has been a Catalina 22 Texas State Champion four times and won his first Catalina 22 National Championship in 2018. He and his wife recently relocated from Texas to St. Petersburg, Florida to expand their sailing and boating passion into the Gulf and Caribbean. Sailing may be Clint's passion, but he loves boats of all types.
