After retiring in 2002, he obtained his U.S. Coast Guard 100 Ton Master Mariners license and started his own marine services company. He has done vessel deliveries and captained vessels for owners from Ft. Lauderdale to New York, the Abaco Islands, Exuma Islands, Florida Keys, Cuba, Mexico’s Yucatan Coast and Florida west coast to Louisiana. In addition, he provides his customers with full service yacht management which has provided him with a strong knowledge of vessel maintenance, construction and performance. He also provides boat handling lessons to owners new to boating.
