INTERIOR APPOINTMENTS
The Interior Designer will be renowned Italian Naval Architect Giuseppina Arena, which has offices both in Miami and Rome, Italy. Everything inside the yacht will be manufactured in Italy.
- Furniture made by one of the best furniture artisans in Italy.
- Fabrics brands such as Loro Piana, Dedar, Fortuny, Bevilacqua, Kohro and Rubelli etc.
- Hand-tufted rugs in 100% New Zealand wool, or blends of NZ Wool, Vegetable Silk and Natural Linen.
- Natural stones fabricated in Italy (the world's best stone fabrication), it includes a sophisticated line of stone tubs and sinks
- 70% Soy-based foam mattresses made of 11 layers of materials, one of which can be (upon request) an aromatherapy layer of Lavender and Swiss Herbs to facilitate a restful soothing sleep. These have an adjustable pillow-top incorporated and overall are much better than Hastings' mattresses of the same price-point.
- Two choices for the bed linens:
- 100% 300 or 500-counts egyptian cotton satin bed sheets - made in Florence
- 100% Hemp hand-woven on antique looms bed sheets (the ultimate sleeping luxury)

A well-rounded boater and water sports enthusiast, Mike grew up on powerboats, owned a sailboat and center consoles, and cruised on sailing catamarans. He raced custom-built jet skis in New York, and some of his races were featured on ESPN. Mike also sailed ice boats on the Great South Bay in Long Island at 50mph. Mike took up sailing in his 20s, becoming the first sailor in his family. He owned a 40-foot classic, wooden sailboat for five years. Mike sailed it for year and then completed a three-year restoration before selling it.
