This Ericson 38-200 is a highly regarded Bruce King-designed performance racer/cruiser--solid, quick, reliable, and comfortable. "Dulce Maestra" has been well-loved, with numerous replacements and upgrades over the past 10 years. 6'6" Draft.

Since 2012, "Dulce Maestra" has been used fewer than 6 months a year, so the upgrades are virtually 5 years old. The following are new or substantially rebuilt, repaired, or upgraded:

Hull above and below the waterline; Navigation, Radar, Wiring, Communications and Charging Systems; Sails and Rigging; Engine, Prop and Shaft; Anchor, Ground Tackle, Windlass; Refrigeration System; Water Tanks and Plumbing; Canvas, Cushions, and Upholstery.

"Dulce Maestra" is loved, sweet, swift, solid, reliable, upgraded, and ready to go! Currently moored in Marina Puerto Escondido, south of Loreto, BCS Mexico, on the threshold to the Sea of Cortez, with some of the best cruising grounds in the world.

Marisa has been selling boats in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico since 2003 when she completed 5000 nm cruising around the Sea of Cortez and the coast of Mexico from 2001 to 2003. She is originally from the Philippines, where she spent every weekend of her teenage years aboard large power yachts. She then took a detour through California to get her MBA and work the high powered corporate life in Human Resources and Information Systems.


Now she is living the dream where the desert meets the sea and dealing with boats for a living in Mexico! This trilingual agent prides herself in using her international experience to facilitate the buying and selling process for her clients, while getting things done in small-town Mexico – all within the safety and security of the largest brokerage network in the world!


When not training for her Moonlight triathlons, she enjoys time cruising aboard her Amel Maramu 48’, or her 26’ Shamrock Mackinaw sports fishing boat in the Sea of Cortez.
