Description

2002 McKinna 57 Pilothouse

Manufacturer Provided Description:

The success of the McKinna 57 Pilothouse is due in large part to its broad appeal - more than 40 of the McKinna 57's have been delivered since the boat was first introduced in 1997. The deck design is quite versatile and can be configured to most any need. What's more, although the list of standard features is impressive, the options are numerous as well. Owners may choose from several two- or three-cabin layouts. All offer gracious and spacious accommodations for family and guests. The main deck can be configured either galley-up, with the galley on the pilothouse level, or galley-down, with the galley on the salon level. As with all McKinna Yachts, the furnishings are the owner's choice throughout. Rich woods such as teak, oak, maple or cherry are available and are complimented by an exquisite array of fabrics and leathers. A full complement of galley appliances is standard. To power everything, both a 21.5-kilowatt generator and 2500-watt AC/DC inverter are standard. At the dock, the 57 Pilothouse is a study in stylish lines and flowing curves. However, on open water is where passengers will appreciate the effort of the McKinna design team put into creating this world-class yacht. The ride is smooth and quiet. The deep-V hull, with its 22-degree entry angle and 18.5 degrees of deadrise at the transom, provides excellent stability in most any sea conditions.

This McKinna 57 Pilothouse has a beautiful Birdseye Maple Interior. The wood work is in excellent condition. A 3 stateroom 2 head layout, large spacious salon and galley makes this vessel a great weekend get away and travel boat. Cockpit has bench seating and cockpit grill. Also handy are the cockpit controls. Powered with reliable Cummins 450C’s she is economical and seaworthy.

Before selecting a broker you should perform due diligence much like you are hiring a new employee. After all, they should be going to work for you. Here is Scott’s background for your edification.

1998 Graduated from the University of Delaware.

1992 through 1998 summer work as a professional mate on private fishing boats out of Cape May.

1999 through 2002 was a professional captain on the “Hot Sparks” a 58 Viking from Cape May to Key Largo, Bahamas, and Mexico.

2003 to current: Owner / Operator of F & S Marine Services LLC

2006 to current: Crew on the charter boat “Uncle T” a 47 Buddy Davis

Scott graduated from the University of Delaware where he earned a degree in criminal justice. While at University of Delaware he played football for the Blue Hens as their starting punter for four years with a few conference championships and a shot at the nation title during his tenure at Delaware.

After graduation his passion for sport fishing led him to Chapman’s School of Seamanship where he earned his Captains license. Scott then returned to Cape May on the “Hot Sparks” pursuing his passion of catching white marlin. The job took him to many ports on the eastern seaboard to include North Carolina, Florida, the Bahamas and Mexico. Scott moved landside in 2003 to pursue the brokerage of new and used boats and launching F & S Marine Services, LLC.

Since opening the doors to F & S Marine Services LLC in 2003, Scott has closed approximately 500 transactions. Boats have been sold all over the US and internationally to include countries like, Bermuda, Bahamas, Germany, Russia, Greenland and Italy to name a few.

In 2006 Scott joined up with Captain Steve Castellini of the “Uncle T” to tournament fish. We have enjoyed several tournament wins over the past few years including first place white marlin in the Mid Atlantic $500,000.

Scott’s background and experience has led him to his success as a yacht broker. Willing to work as a team player, knowledge of traveling and operating million dollar vessels and the ability to close a deal makes Scott one of the most aggressive brokers in the industry.
