Description
The Sea Ray 340 Sundancer replaced the previous 340 Sundancer (1999-2002) a top selling model in the Sea Ray fleet. Wider in the beam than her predecessor, with a newly designed cockpit and a deep-V hull with integrated swim platform. The sleek styling of the 340 Sundancer conceals an interior that seems remarkably spacious for a 34-foot boat. The cabin is well lit with seven ports and overhead hatches, and the upscale decor is accented with rich cherry cabinets and earth tone fabrics and upholstery. A spacious interior with pedestal berth forward and convertible settees in the salon and mid cabin area. Solid surface counters and quality hardware are found in the galley, and privacy curtains separate the sleeping areas from the main cabin. Semicircular lounge seating is aft in the cockpit, and an electric hatch lifts to reveal a rather compact engine compartment. The helm is notable for its excellent design and good visibility. A premium express finished to very high standards, MerCruiser 370hp V-drive inboards cruise the Sea Ray 340 Sundancer at 23-24 knots and reach a top speed in the mid-30s.

Ray grew up on the Chesapeake Bay piloting vessels from the C&D Canal to Lower Bay for 20 years. Most of Ray's life has involved some form of boating. Experience in boat handling/operation, maintenance, engines, finishes, and more have earned him his Masters Coast Guard merchant mariner credential for up to a 100 gross ton vessel.
Eventually, Ray moved to Florida where he worked as a sales and marketing professional for Walt Disney World. During his free time, Ray was the Commodore of the Central Florida Cruise Club, which is a club where members share boating experience with each other, and Director of Kissimmee Boat-A-Cade, which is an annual small boat event that has taken place every year in June since 1950 and starts in Kissimmee on Lake Tohopakaliga. Outside of work, Ray raised 4 children with his high school sweetheart of 44 years. His next boating adventure is the Great Loop, where he hopes to share his experience with you!
The combination of sales, marketing and boating experience allows Ray to serve his clients in all aspects of any transaction.
