The Hunter 33.5 is a wonderful family cruiser and performs quite well given her large sail plan and bulb wing keel. She is easy to sail single-hand and includes a new tender and outboard. Owner very motivated as they are now RVing.

Description

The Hunter 33.5 is a well designed family cruiser. Above decks she features a large cockpit with walk-thru transom and comfortable high-backed benches. All lines lead aft to the coach roof mounted sheet stoppers and self-tailing winch. The jib self-tailing sheet winches are mounted on the coaming top, just forward of the helm station keeping them within easy reach of the helm and far enough forward to quick access from the crew. Wide side decks, inboard shrouds and coach roof mounted hand rails offer safe, easy access fore and aft for docking and anchoring. On the bow is a deep anchor locker and bow roller with anchor storage and electric windlass. Hunter's famous slotted, aluminum toe rail runs full length and offers excellent protection and tie down options.

A refinement of the Hunter 34, the Hunter 33.5 offers a surprisingly bright spacious interior w/ 6'5" headroom. This is the later "T" (trunk cabin) version with an athwartship private aft cabin featuring a true double bunk, additional ports, hatches and larger Yanmar 27hp diesel.

The Hunter 33.5 performs quite well given her large sail plan and bulb wing keel. She is easy to sail single-handed, last owner single handed down the entire ICW and includes a full array of electronics.

Accommodations

Below decks the 33.5 is very crew friendly. She features a welcoming interior with excellent ventilation and abundant natural light highlighted by beautiful teak woods.

The main salon features a U-shaped dinette with convertible table to starboard and a long bench style settee to port. The NAV station is at the aft end of the port settee. Forward of the salon is the marine head and vanity with private double doors. The vanity is to port and the marine head and shower is to starboard. The private guest cabin is forward with a large double V berth, storage lockers and a large overhead hatch. The owner's cabin is aft and features an athwart ships double, storage lockers and privacy door. The full cruising galley offers all the amenities needed for cruising, double burner alcohol stove, deep, double lid refrigerated ice box, and generous storage cabinets.

She offers very comfortable sleeping accommodations for 7 adults - 2 owner's cabin, 2 private forward cabin, 2 convertible dinette, 1 port settee.
