Description
The Italia Yachts 12.98 deck plan is practical and functional and the hull lines of IY 12.98 have a correct balance between comfort and performance. The thrusts at the stern and bow are more evident than the other models of Italia Yachts. The smaller wetted surface is an all-round benefit of performance in light wind conditions. The deck plan includes a teak deck and a layout optimized for cruising. So that navigation is easy and comfortable for a family or a smaller crew, without compromising on speed or feeling at the helm.
In the interiors of the IY 12.98 wicker, cotton and linen fibers in conjunction with technological and innovative solutions to create an elegant environment, without adding weight. As in the whole Italia Yachts range, the final product reflects countless hours of ergonomic studies to ensure excellent habitability and Italian comfort.

Chris’ passion and love for boats began while growing up fishing and sailing in southeast Texas. For most of his adult life, Chris has been a highly regarded professional yachtsman. An accomplished racer, Chris’ adventures have taken him sailing across the Atlantic and throughout the Caribbean. In 1994, Chris was called on to join the America’s Cup team as shore support in San Diego.
