Manufacturer Provided Description

An ultimate balance of form and function, power and performance, value and prestige, the Egg Harbor 60 SportYacht is the beautiful culmination of 50 years of boatbuilding experience. Her unbroken sheer sweeps gracefully aft, complementing a raked house tapering into the foredeck. Below, her 17-foot, 6-inch beam accommodates an expansive salon and gourmet galley on the main deck, while three luxurious staterooms, a washer and dryer, and two or three heads occupy the lower deck. The 60's oversized flybridge and unusually large cockpit are key distinguishing characteristics of Egg Harbor's SportYacht series, rivaling those found on much larger motor yachts. Up top, fore and aft overhangs expand the 60 SportYacht's usable space, making the flybridge the epitome of comfort and hospitality while streamlining the overall profile. Spacious storage units are concealed in the seating and faring. The standard topside wetbar with sink and bottle storage is available with optional icemaker and refrigerator. All are in one starboard unit for convenience underway. The centerline helm chair, and companion pedestal chair to port, offers a clear view fore and aft. Forward there is comfortable lounge seating. A fiberglass hardtop with four-sided enclosure shelters all aboard. The 60 SportYacht's wealth of cockpit features include engine access and a complete bait prep center. Tackle drawers, sink, cutting board, and freezer are standard. Also standard on the 60 are a large lift-out fish box with macerator, a livewell with recirculating pump, a large transom door, lazarette access, fitted coaming pads, and four flush-mounted rod holders. A boarding box, ample drawer and locker storage, and additional stowage in the gunwales are also standard. Egg Harbor's advanced technology, engineering and design produced the lightweight, composite construction that offers an unusually long range for 60-foot convertible yacht. This boat displaces 83,500 pounds and derives additional strength from unitized construction of the cockpit, deck, bulkheads, and bow pulpit. The 60 SY's open, free-flowing interior reflects Egg Harbor's time-honored craftsmanship and attention to detail. Rich, warm and inviting, the main living area has a gracious, elegantly appointed salon, with a large L-shaped sectional sofa and designer table. (Additional rod storage is concealed in the sofa.) Along the port side is a grand-sized dinette with L-shaped seating. The entertainment center includes a 20-inch remote color television - VCR and stereo system with CD and FM antenna. To starboard, a huge, fully equipped gourmet galley features an island bar and wide, functional Avonite counters. A designer sink and faucet, a three-burner electric stove, and a microwave and convection oven are standard equipment. A 110V refrigerator and freezer, and a trash compactor are built in to the island bar. Egg Harbor uses a semi-custom, flexible manufacturing process to precision-build limited numbers of luxury yachts ranging in length from 37 to 60 feet. All Egg Harbor yachts are backed by a transferable, five-year hull warranty and NMMA Certification.
