NIMBUS
Sleak and Beautiful "Nimbus" Can Take You Anywhere The Taswell 49 was designed by renown blue water yacht designer Bill Dixon, and was built by the legendary Ta Shing Yacht Yard in Taiwan. Ta Shing is the same builder of Nordhavn, Mason, Toshiba, and many other well respected, heavily built brands. Ta Shing is still building top of the line vessels to this day. Nimbus is especially striking with her black and gold Awlgrip hull paint. Three staterooms, and two heads with separate shower stalls. She's got a fin keel and a skeg hung rudder that allows for easy tacking and straight and steady tracking. She is rigged as a cutter, making her very versatile and safe in adverse weather conditions. The center cockpit is the most comfortable location to pilot from being the center axis of the vessel. Her reverse transom with molded stairs makes boarding easy. She has never had teak decks!
