Description
The Sea Ray 340 Amberjack, perfect for fishing or cruising, features a wide beam and a large cockpit. The standard fold-down aft bench ensures comfortable seating for many passengers.
The aft cockpit bolster provides leverage during big fish fights. In the raised bridge area, the entire forward cockpit sole can be raised electrically for easy engine access. The helm includes a backlit switch panel with illuminated weatherproof rocker switches, dual gear shift and throttle controls, and plenty of room for additional electronics. The galley below features a refrigerator; flush-mount, two-burner electric stove; microwave; and fiberglass countertop with sink and Corian cutting board. The dinette easily seats four for meals, and the SMART TV provides entertainment in the cabin. The full fiberglass-enclosed standup head with shower and curtain also features a VacuFlush head, a mirrored medicine cabinet, and a vanity with sink and storage below. The forward stateroom has a hanging locker with a mirrored door, side shelf storage, and a comfortable full-size bed. A pocket door ensures privacy.
This vessel has the preferred 300 hp Caterpillar 3126 TA diesels rather than the Mercruiser gas engines usually found.

Garret started in the marine industry in 1979 as a service tech and then service manager for a large dealership in Marblehead, Mass. By the early '90s, Garret was running a power and sailboat dealership with offices in Portsmouth and East Greenwich, RI. These experiences provided a practical base of knowledge that can save a boater tremendous aggravation and expense that can - so often - ruin the boat buying and selling experience. Garret can, and will, anticipate and plan for all the complications and pitfalls that trip up boaters as they navigate their way through the boat purchase and sale experience.
