Northrop & Johnson Yacht Broker and New Construction Expert Joe Foggia was born in Portland, Oregon. He grew up as an avid water sports enthusiast on Lake Oswego, the Columbia River and the pristine Oregon Coast. At 15, Joe started working at Christensen Yachts as a general laborer in various construction crafts. In 1990, Joe moved into yacht construction planning and purchasing. From there, he worked in project management. In 1997, Joe became vice president of operations. Dave Christensen named Joe president and sales director of Christensen Yachts in 2001; Joe remained in this role until 2014. During his time at Christensen, Joe successfully guided the shipyard through multiple challenging recessions, numerous yacht product changes and refinements and added a system of total quality control — all of which helped the yard earn highest ranks in U.S. pedigree and sales for 2012, 2013 and 2014.

In his role with Northrop & Johnson, Joe uses his vast yacht construction knowledge and sales experience to fuel his passion and ability to establish everlasting relationships with the world’s discerning yacht enthusiasts.

Joe and his wife Judy enjoy all types of watersports, downhill skiing, traveling and a variety of outdoor activities. They reside in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
