Description
"Traditional styling coupled with a hull and rig that are designed to deliver optimal cruising performance all in a very easy way to sail yacht are the hallmarks of the 2008 Domestic Boat of the Year and Best Midsized Luxury Cruiser winning Tartan 4300 design. On the surface, the 4300 has all the design elements of classic American yacht design. Graceful sheer-line, balanced overhangs, complimentary low coach roof, sweeping cockpit coamings and thoughtful convenience details on deck all give the 4300 a very classic profile."
"Turtle Dove II" has had only 2 owners since I sold her new in 2009 and again in 2018. She can easily be sailed by one with her carbon "Cruise Control Rig", Self Tacking 98% Jib and "Pocket Boom". The current owner has enjoyed sailing her from Annapolis to Tortola for the winter months, and Charleston, Newport, and Annapolis for the spring, summer and fall.
She is well equipped for offshore sailing or coastal cruising. Her interior is richly appointed with Cheery wood cabinetry, supple Ultra Leather Cushions and beautiful Teak tongue and groove flooring. She is currently in St. Thomas and I shall be heading back to Annapolis with her the first weekend in June.
