Description
The luxurious VanDutch 55 is a landmark model in the company’s legacy. Its distinctive profile is reminiscent of the original VanDutch 40, including the unmistakable vertical bow and minimalistic deck lines, but with enhanced volume and interior capacity.
Naval architecture from Frank Mulder ensures the VanDutch 55 stakes its claim as one of the best performing, most cutting-edge motor boats in its size range. On the foredeck, vast sunbathing and lounging areas are available, while the cockpit enjoys expanded dining spaces and an electric Bimini.
Below deck, the VanDutch 55 provides accommodation for up to six guests, making it a fantastic boat for longer-range coastal cruising and the flagship in the VanDutch family.

Sidney Ambroise
Born and raised in Miami, Sidney's love for boating has truly become first nature. His knowledge of mechanical systems and functions took shape at a young age as he developed an interest in tinkering with various gadgets + engines. This eventually led him to start a career in the yachting industry as a marine engineer, dealing with electrical components, air conditioning and plumbing systems, along with structural fiberglass repairs.
Sidney transitioned to becoming corporate captain for Denison Yachting's service department during the company's early years, playing a key role in Denison's first rendezvous by navigating to various islands in the Bahamas alongside other client yachts. He then took an opportunity to run a private yacht for a couple years, spending his summers in Sag Harbor as well as helming trips up the east coast from Florida to several destinations in the Northeast such as Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Newport and Boston.
As a captain for roughly seven years, Sidney has acquired a firm grasp on how to best meet the needs of yacht owners, including managing operational costs as well as maintaining and protecting such investments.
Having assisted numerous boat owners as a corporate captain, Sidney is committed to ensuring that his clients are comfortable navigating + operating their boat of choice and looks forward to helping them throughout the ownership process.
