Dan Wood

Dan Wood is originally from Connecticut and began boating at an early age. After graduating from Tufts University and obtaining an MBA in Finance he moved to San Diego where he began his career in the investment field. This culminated in 15 years as a General Partner of a series of 3 venture capital funds. Dan has owned his own yacht brokerage for 5 years and has owned about 10 boats personally, both power and sail. He recently sailed his catamaran from San Diego to Cartagena, Colombia. A resident of Miami, he now serves all of Florida for United Yacht Sales. In addition to boating, Dan enjoys golf, tennis, and skiing.
