Scott grew up on a house on the Maumee River in Toledo, Ohio. A lifetime avid boater on the Maumee River, Lake Erie, and many of the freshwater lakes in lower Michigan. He spent most of his youth boating, fishing, and water skiing. He moved to Cape Coral, Florida in 2019 after selling his marketing business which he started and ran for 31 years in Ohio. Scott has 3 wonderful kids all currently living in Ohio.
