Steve Buckley

“Raised by parents, both with strong ties to the pre-World War II New England and New York’s yachting world, the family pleasure yacht tradition is embodied in Steve’s work today. Davison’s Boat Yard in East Rockaway, New York was founded by his maternal grandparents and Steve’s dad was a General Manager of ELCO Boats yacht division and a founding member of the Port ELCO Club. His 25 years of captaining ended in 1994 when Steve moved off the yachts and into a yacht sales office. A highlight of his captaining and yacht sales careers included the construction oversight responsibilities of five custom new build projects at pedigree builders such as Cigarette, Magnum Marine, Burger Boat, NQEA of Australia and Sovereign Yachts in British Columbia. A long time resident of Fort Lauderdale since 1974, and recently ending sixteen years of self employment in yacht sales and yacht charter, Steve is proud to join Atlantic Yacht & Ship with its exceptional industry team to further his career and continue to provide professional level, client focused yacht sales, yacht listing and specialized yacht charter services.”
