First Look: Grady-White’s New 2019 Canyon 326

The new Grady-White Canyon 326 continues the builder’s reputation for building capable offshore fishing machines, but also offers plenty of standard and optional features for the comfort of family and friends. The 326 is the latest addition to Grady-White’s Canyon line of family-friendly center console models from 27 to 45 feet.

For fishing, the boat includes a 32-gallon full column, recirculating, lighted raw-water livewell, three insulated fish boxes and holders for 24 rods. The 326 also features a rigging station with freshwater sink and faucet, lockable storage drawers and tackle trays.

Twin 300-hp Yamaha outboards should deliver a top speed of about 50 miles per hour, according to Grady-White. Twin 350-hp Yamahas are also available to get you to the fishing grounds even faster.

Even with all of the fishing features, there’s plenty of seating room for guests. The cockpit has a fold-away aft bench seat and the bow has port and starboard cushioned fish boxes with fold-away backrests plus two forward-facing seats on the console, all in addition to the three captain’s chairs at the helm.

The 326 has starboard and port built-in swim platforms and transom and port-side doors to land those big tunas or to get back in the boat after a swim.

Inside the console there’s a stand-up cherry-accented head compartment, a stainless-steel sink with pull-out faucet and ample storage.

The boat has fresh and raw-water washdowns and clear access to the anchor through a bow-walkthrough.

Some of the available options are a bow thruster, grill, refrigerator, SureShade retractable shade, outrigger kit, casting platform with cushion and table option, or even a retractable ski pylon.
